Etiquette: two questions?

Two questions about the baby shower I'm hosting in a few weeks:

1)  I already sent an e-vite, but I am also sending a paper invitation.  Should I send one to people who have already RSVP'd no to the e-vite?  Some of them are important family (like the father's mother).

2)  Can I include registry information in the invitation (separate slip or something)?  Or should I just forget about it and if anyone asks me let them know?  The mother to be is registered at 2 places, one of those places is not going to be found by just guessing the most common registry sites.

TIA.

Re: Etiquette: two questions?

  • 1. I would send an invite to everyone on the list, regardless of RSVP status. Maybe include a small insert to those that have already RSVP'd stating that you have received their response but wanted them to have an invite regardless? Especially if it's important people - I know MIL kept my baby shower invite for a scrapbook, others may do the same.

    2. Yep, you sure can. A baby shower is intended to "shower" the new mama with gifts, so it's perfectly acceptable to include that information. It's hard to be gift-grabby at an event primarily intended for gifts :)
