Thanks and a (.) (.) update

Sandra's surgery went really well.  There was some speculation on how the whole reconstruction part would go.  Fortunately since this time the breast was cancer free they just basically removed the breast tissue and she had a good amount of skin for the plastic surgeon to work with and he was able to insert an implant today rather than the alternative (which is 6mos of going in weekly for saline inserted into an expander which is how they did it when removing the cancerous breast.)

So no more surgeries! No more tamoxafin (estrogen blocker) that has hideous side affects. She is alive and well and whole again and I'm crying in relief.  This woman has been in my life 40 years and she is truly someone I have no way of saying how much her well being means to me.

Thank you so much for the t/p/j today, it is MUCH appreciated ladies,  Nesties ROCK!
