Let's talk baby rooms

We need to get started on our baby room soon, since my busy work season is upon us I want to get as much done as I can before I get even more busy. I have a couple of questions though...

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.

Thanks ladies! :)

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? NFM and probably too much...$1500 for convertible crib and large dresser.  The set would look great in a teenager's room so I felt like we could get a lot of use from it and we don't plan to have our kids really close together so I wanted to be able to convert it.

Did you use a dresser in the room? Yes and it doubles as a changing table.  I can't imagine bending down to change her on the floor each time and I would probably be resigned to do every diaper change as DH would not go for it.  There is certainly nothing wrong with it, I am all about minimalism.

Did you use a changing table at all? No. I can't reuse a changing table once baby is out of diapers so I didn't want one.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? No, we are raising an Eskimo.  We keep our house at 70 and her room is probably just a smidge cooler than that.  I would be afraid she would get too hot which is not good.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? Waste of money.  I bought 2 solid colored crib sheets that match her room.  I don't put anything else in her crib.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.  I didn't want the Angel Care monitor but the sensor is designed to be placed under the mattress so baby would not be laying on a "cutting board" ;)

    Thanks ladies! :)

After looking at nfm and online, we got our set at kidsstuff. I really like it, it's well made and will last us thru another kiddo. I think the crib & dresser were $1100? This includes the rails to convert to a big kid bed.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later.

Yes. I do all of my diaper changes at home on the dresser. We have a ranch-style home so this works best. All of my stuff is there, in 1 place. We also have a great closet with built-ins and I use all of the space for clothes, blankets, bedding, cloth diaper stuff and toys.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it.

    See above

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?

We do not. C's room is a little cooler too, and the AAP actually recommends a room temp between 68-72 degrees. We have a Vick's humidifier that runs overnight in addition to our whole-house humidifier.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?

Dangerous and unecessary (AAP says do not use d/t increased risk of SIDS). I bought a quilt, crib skirt and fitted sheet from Land of Nod so that I didn't have to buy the bumper too.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.

I just have an audio monitor. It works for us with everything on the same level. We mostly use it in the summer when we are outside after bedtime.

    Thanks ladies! :)

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?  We bought ours at NFM, it is a convertible one.  I love it.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later.   We bought a changing table that is also a dresser.  We do love the dresser for sheets, etc.

No heater, but we do run the humidifier a lot.  I would definitely get one.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?   No bumpers...actually nothing in the crib.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.    We don't have the angel care, we have just a regular monitor system and it works just fine.

    Thanks ladies! :)

We also have something like this.  I LOVE it.  We have one in our laundry room and in Mason's closet.   We actually use the one in the laundry room the most.  I just fold all his cloths and put them in this.

Another thing I would recommend is a little plug in nightlight.  This way when you go in at night you can see and you don't have to turn on the lights.

This is not related to the baby room, but I think the item we bought that we use the most is the pack n play.  We bought one that has the changing table on top - we have used that every single day.  This one.  It also has storage comparents that we keep diapers, wipes, snot sucker, etc in.

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?  We got our from my brother.  It is a drop crib so we secured it with additional screws.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later. The dresser can fit into the closet.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it.

We do have a changing table and I love it but we also are using cloth diapers so I need the storage space plus this is where I store burp clothes and I have another basket that has his thermometer, nose sucker thing, brush, etc.  As he has become more mobile he does like to stand and move around on the changing table but I still prefer the table versus the floor.  If you need a dresser, you can do the lower dresser that then could also be used a a changing table.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?

My son's room is above the garage and gets cold in the winter.  We were going to buy a heater for his room but then in one of the pre-birth classes they stated not to get the room too warm.  Temp should be between 65-70 or so.  So the room has only dropped below 65 and that was last week so I had him sleep with us.  We just dress him in warmer sleepers and when they are babies, you can use those sleep sacks.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? Breathable crib bumpers (they are mesh).  We didn't use it and S has never had any problems but each kid is different.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.

we do not have one.  Our monitor though picks up anything and everything.  The kids can be in their room talking softly and it picks it up.

    Thanks ladies! :)

  • On K's pak n play.  We have one and I used it for changes in the 1st week or so but never much any more.  We used it for a crib when we went to the lake so S had a place to sleep but as of now, it has seemed like a waste to me. It just sits in the closet.
  • Crib- NFM- $300 for Ian's (E's was recalled).

Changing table/dresser- NFM- bought to match E's crib $200.  We use this daily to change diapers/clothes; store socks, diapers, etc in it.

No stand alone heater in the kiddo's rooms. Their rooms are on the cooler side.  E will strip down to her undies at night and the coolness doesn't bother her.

Yes get a humidifier (or 2- one for the main area baby is in and one for their room).

No, crib bumper.  See above pp responses.  And ditto the 2 sheets and you're good.  I bought E's crib bedding and can't get rid of it (Lamb & Ivy Secret Garden).

  • Also, we use the Target Closetmaid cubby storage tower things in both kids closets with the cloth baskets that go with them.  E had the 9 opening one and Ian has the 6 opening one.  These are great for books, hat storage, toys, shoes, etc.

  • imagescpteam20:

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?  Babies-R-Us.  We got the crib, conversion kit, 6 drawer dresser and 4 drawer chest for around $1200 I think.  I love it.  We use the 6 drawer dresser in his room and put the 4 drawer chest in the spare bedroom since we needed one in there.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later.   I can't imagine not having the dresser in there.  Yes, we use it as the changing table as well.  I actually keep most of his clothes in the dresser rather than the closet as it's so much easier to figure out what to put on him and pull stuff out when he's laying right there rather than going across the room to get it out of the closet.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it. I'd totally vote to get some sort of changing table - be it a dresser or whatever.  Think about 2 or 3 am changing sessions...I think it would be MUCH more comfortable for BOTH of you if you did some sort of table.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?  We do use a heater in his room.  it's one of those occilating fan type of heaters.  There's nothing else around it so I don't worry about a fire or anything.  We also run a cool-mist humidifier in there as well.

    Here's what we have:

    heat fan: http://www.target.com/p/Lasko-Digital-Pedestal-Heater-with-Remote-30/-/A-13671312

    Humidifier:  http://www.target.com/p/Crane-Ultrasonic-Cool-Mist-Frog-Humidifier/-/A-719439#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?  We used a breathable one when he started moving around the crib and his legs/arms would get stuck in the slots.  I actually just took it out again though as he's now able to pull himself up and I worry about him using it to climb up and over the edge.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad. no advice on this one - we just have the cheaper sound only monitor, which has worked fine for us.

    Thanks ladies! :)

  • Thanks girls, I will probably skip the breathable bumper until she moves around in her crib then, they freak me out but I also worried about limbs getting stuck in the slats eventually.

The room she will be in only heats to around 60 degrees, so I think we need a heater then.

I may just get a changing table and sell it online later, the room for her is teeny so I a closet system will probably be the most efficient. :)

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?

E's crib is from NFM, I think we paid $450 for it, and that included everything needed for all the conversions, even the rails for the full size bed.  I love her bed, and she'll use it until she moves out.

Isla's crib is also convertible, but we bought it for $75 used.  It';s in great condition, and again, will be her bed until she moves out.

Did you use a dresser in the room?

We have a tall dresser in both rooms.

Did you use a changing table at all?

We don't have a changing table.  For both girls, I throw down a towel or blanket wherever I am to change them.  Right now, I'm using the ottoman and our bed the most.

Did you use a heater in the baby room?

We never used a heater in E's room, we just turned up the heat in the house. With Isla, she's sleeping in our bedroo right now, so we have our ceramic heater going at night.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?

I made bumpers for Isla's bed.  They are very thin, just enough to keep her arms and legs from getting stuck.

    Thanks ladies! :)

  • You have a ton of feedback but figured more wouldnt hurt. Wink

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? I bought all of my stuff used. My crib was $25 and it has drop side but it's been fine. You can reinforce these as well. It has worked perfect for us.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later.  We have a long dresser that is low and used that as a changing table. Yes, you can do stuff on the floor but we really liked having them at our level. Even now at 3.5 and 2 they go up on the dresser after baths and such to get lotioned up... its just easier. During the day I do all the diaper changing on the floor but we do use it after bath time every night.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it.  We did not buy a changing table... I think they are a waste of money as they cant be used for anything else after you are done with it... see previous answer...

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?  We do use a heater and a humidifier in the boys rooms. H's room is FREEZING at night.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? I used them cuz I had them. I did not use them when they were really little but used them a lil later cuz pacifiers and blankets did not fall out then.... and my kids like to sleep with their head up against something and I would walk in with rail markings all over their faces... I felt bad so wanted to give them a lil cushion.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.  We had just a normal monitor and it met our needs.

  • Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? We got ours at Wal-Mart and love them. They are sleek and simple, and I couldn?t imagine paying several hundreds of dollars for one, much less two cribs. We paid $169 each of a Gracco crib and mattress.  Free ship to store. Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later. We have a dresser with a changing pad on top. We purchased that and a three drawer smaller dresser for $75 on craigslist. The smaller dresser lives in the closet. Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it.  I?ve heard that too, and those people must live in a two-story house with a living space far from the nursery. We live in a ranch and have never NOT changed them on their changing table in their room.  And bending down on the floor? No thank you. A newborn is fine, but once those kids can squirm around- forget it. It?s WWE to get clothes on my kids these days, and I need all the stability I can get. Feet shoulder width apart, firmly on the floor, and everything in front of me for leverage. Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too? I had a space heater that I?d run when I was in there feeding or awake, but I was too nervous to let it run while we slept. We run a humidifier in the winter though. That runs all night.  Whats the last word on crib bumpers? I did breathable crib bumpers. I woke up one night to a screaming kid with stuck legs. No thank you. I value my sleep too much. We actually just took them out last weekend. It was a PITA to change the sheets. Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.  Ha. Jake cracks me up. If you need the peace of mind, go ahead and get one. We did an audio monitor only until recently. We have a video monitor now, and it?s a riot. I could watch them laugh and play before naps all damn day on that thing. You?re welcome to come over and check out our set-up.

  • We bought a dresser for Audrey's room before she was born.  I hang all of her shirts and dresses, but all of her pants, jammies, socks, etc go in the dresser.  I'd say that's for sure something you'd want.. you'll be shocked at how the clothes pile up with a girl!

I never bought a changing table and I'm glad.  We were constantly changing her in other rooms of the house.. I cant think of a time I even changed her in her room.  Not neccessary in my opinion.. and a huge waste of space!

I would never put a heater in the baby's room - I'm way too paranoid about fires.  You can bundle them up.. I wouldnt worry about it.

Crib bumpers are okay if they are breathable.  We had Bryn make us a thin one.

We need to get started on our baby room soon, since my busy work season is upon us I want to get as much done as I can before I get even more busy. I have a couple of questions though...

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? Kids stuff superstore, LOVE IT! around $200 it was clearance and had a few scratches. And since I can't resell it I'm glad I didn't pay a fortune for it. It's a non dropside.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later. YES, we had an old dresser that we use for all her current clothes, sheets and some misc. Then I hang all her clothes for the upcoming seasons, sizes.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it. Yes, this is the only place we have ever changed her. But I will say it is my sewing cabinet with a cover and pad on it. Works great though.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too? Yes on the heater, we added a vornado one we got from costco. Was 40 bucks. L was always super cold and we thought that was why she was getting up constantly at night. This one has a temp control so it does not run constantly but just takes the chill off. We also use a humidifier. I like those animal ones, can't remember the brand.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? I use one but my child doesn't roll. They aren't outlawed yet.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad. Never had one of these or a normal monitor.

We need to get started on our baby room soon, since my busy work season is upon us I want to get as much done as I can before I get even more busy. I have a couple of questions though...

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? My in-laws buys the first crib for their children. We got it at Kidstuff and also bought a matching dresser at the time. Crib was $299 and the dresser was $299 also if you bought with a crib. We love them both and probably wouldnt have done it any other way. My only complaint was caught them in a lie about having things in stock. Ended up not being in a big deal but it was the fact that they lied in the first place.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later. We are doing a dresser with a changing pad on top. We have no closet space so knew we had to do a dresser.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it. We are using the dresser top as a changing table. I know we will probably change the baby elsewhere at times, but I really do think we will use the changing pad a lot.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? We didnt register for or plan on buying crib bumpers until baby is older. Then we will probably go with those mesh ones. I have heard good things about those.

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? Target... $150?...love it.

Did you use a dresser in the room? Did you use a changing table at all? We have an long old dresser that we bought on CL, painted it white, changed the handles, and bought a changing pad for the top. We used the changing pad all the time at the beginning, but as he got older and was able to roll over, we stopped using it. Which is why I think the dresser/changing table is a better option than separate ones.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? "They" say that the baby should be sleeping in a room that is around 68-70 degrees, which to me is pretty chilly. But we always bundled him up pretty good between his swaddle thing and PJ's and sometimes a blanket over his legs.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? After I took off the 'for show' bumper when he started scooting around, he would smash his head off the sides and cry, so I bought the breathable one at that point. Wish I would have just started with that one.

Did you love your angel care monitor? Yes, loved it. You put the board under the mattress.

Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it? MIL gave us our crib. She got it from Walmart 2 1/2 years ago to use for our niece but didn't end up needing it - I think it was $150? I love it!

Did you use a dresser in the room? Did you use a changing table at all? We have a dresser with changing pad on top. We only use it in the morning and when we're getting him ready for bed. The rest of the time, we change him in the living room - usually on a blanket on the floor. Oh, we also have a closet organizer that my sister got us.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? No, but we keep his door closed so that his room stays warmer. DH is scared of space heaters, but his room does get chilly -- the oldest it's been is 66, but it's usually 68-70 as long as the door stays closed.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers? My sister got us a bedding set without asking if we were going to use one. I used the bumper until we stopped swaddling at 3 months. Then I switched it to the breathable bumper. I have a nephew who broke his arm when he was 7 months old because they didn't have a bumper in the crib. With as much as B moves, I am scared that this could be an issue for us!

Did you love your angel care monitor? We got it when B decided that he wanted to be a tummy sleeper. We love it! It helps both of us sleep better, but the alarm doesn't wake him up. We do get false alarms sometimes now that he likes to sleep on his knees with his butt in the air. I usually just move him more central to the mattress and make sure his chest is where the board is, and the problem is solved. The motion pad goes under the mattress - he doesn't even know it's there!

  • Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?

We had one of the drop-side, low cost cribs from Target when my boys were babies, but obviously those have been recalled/discontinued.  If we have another baby we would like to get a crib from IKEA, inexpensive (around $100 & low to the ground).  However, I don't know that you can buy them online & if so the shipping is probably crazy.  We go to Denver 3 or so times a year, so we would just get one there.

Did you use a dresser in the room?

We did have a dresser in the room, but I think you could get away with a closet system or putting the dresser in the closet later when you need room for toys.  We have the boys dresser in the closet now and it works great for us, there is still room above & beside it for hanging clothes.

Did you use a changing table at all?

We did have a changing table because our dresser was too tall otherwise I would have just used that.  We bought our changing table from a consignment store for around $20 so we didn't spend much.  I did use it most of the time for changing diapers.

Did you use a heater in the baby room?

No heater for us and I would be too freaked out by fire problems to attempt it.  We definitely had a cool mist humidifier though.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?

We used one with the boys, but I don't think I would use one again.  N still got his leg stuck in the slats once & that was what I was most worried about anyway.

Did you love your angel care monitor?

I just had a regular sound monitor, but I am considering this or a video monitor next time.

Holy cow, we're going to have a little sister!! BabyFruit Ticker
  • Crib - NFM and way expensive set, we got the crib, tall dresser and wide dresser with changing table on top.  It's Stanley, way overpriced, but I bought it when I went through IF and thought it was the only child.  It has lasted and I'm actually glad we went expensive because it withstands everything!

Dresser-  I love both dressers, but I don't know what we will do with one of them when we convert to a full size, there just won't be enough room.  One is plenty, the only thing I caution on about the closet is that is a good storage place for toys.  We have a storage system from Target with the bins for toys in the closet.  It keeps things much tidier, might be a good alternative and still get the dresser.

Changing table - used it and still do at almost 2.  It sits on top of the long dresser.

Heater- Yes, we have one in the room.  The rooms get chilly.  I have a space heater.

    Crib bumpers - No.

Monitor, I have a basic one, so no input here.

  • Where did you get your crib? How much did you pay for it? Do you love it?

Target. It is the Graco Charleston, and we paid $89 on clearance. I love it! In fact, I love it more than the $300 drop side crib that we got it to replace.

Did you use a dresser in the room? We were thinking of skipping the dresser and doing a closet system with some drawers since the baby room is a little small. This would make space for toys and stuff later.

Yes, we have a long 6 drawer dresser that holds all of our cloth diapering stuff, and then a tall 5 drawer dresser that holds all of his clothes. We only paid $50 for the long dresser and $25 for the tall one, so I couldn't pass it up. I plan on repainting them for his big boy room.

Did you use a changing table at all? If we skip the dresser we will need to get a changing table- but a lot of moms have been telling me they just changed their baby on the floor on a changing pad and never used the table or dresser for it.

We put a changing pad on top of the long dresser. We change him in his room 95% of the time, and his room is upstairs.

Did you use a heater in the baby room? The room we are using gets a little more chilly than the rest of the house so we are thinking we need a heater...wdyt? What is the best one for something like that? How about one that is a humidifier too?

Nope. His monitor tells us that his room is about 67-72 degrees at night. He wears long pjs, and sleeps with his blanket.

Whats the last word on crib bumpers?

We have a breathable one. I found it at Big Wheels for $2.50.

Did you love your angel care monitor? I am registering for one by my husband keeps saying he thinks its like making our baby sleep on a small cutting board and it makes him feel bad.

YES! It is by far my favorite baby item! We recommend it to everyone, and I wouldn't have gotten any sleep without it. We used it longer with DD, most likely because I was a paranoid FTM then, but only used it until DS was around 10 months or so. He didn't even sleep in his crib until almost 6 months, so we didn't get a lot of use out of it this time around. We still use it as a sound monitor now, and we love it.

  • We got all our baby nursery furniture online. I think we paid less than $300.00 for the crib which can be converted to a toddler bed. Very happy with it!
We didn?t feel a dresser was necessary but have a chest of drawers. We got a changing table with storage. I know you can change your baby anywhere but the changing pad makes it so much more convenient. I?d definitely recommend buying one.
The nursery faces east so it generally warmer than the rest of the rooms in our home. We never felt the need for a heater.
I think bumpers are useful, especially your baby is wriggly. You?ll want to keep him/her from bumping her head or getting her/his limbs caught between the rails. I got slat bumpers. These can be individually tied to two slats leaving room in between for air to circulate.
We have an audio monitor and we?re happy with that. I personally don?t like the angel care monitors, either.
