Outside party for Mid-April?

What do you think?  My cousin is toying with the idea for her daughter's first birthday. We could do inside as well but it would be mostly outside since her house is smaller.

I would have a back up plan. Ryan is 4/8. His first we had a gorgeous day and other times its rainy and cold. Could go either way.

Josh's birthday in April 29th and we always do a backyard or outdoor/indoor party around his birthday.  Luckily, we've never had an issue with the weather.

with any outside party- you take a risk... even in May/June you can have rain, etc.... and in April you jsut never know if it will be cold or warm.... so you are always taking a risk - and should always have a backup plan.

We used to have memorial day parties but got tired of wearing coats and jeans to kick off summer, no way would I plan outside for April when it's still chilly in may- sorry

I am April 17th, and growing up the weather was always hit or miss.  I would definitely have an indoor option also...

This. E's birthday is 5/13 and the past 2 years it has rained.......

Like pps said you def need an inside option in case of rain or cold.

Have a backup. We got married 4/26. It was 45 degrees and basically a monsoon. The next day was 75 and sunny.
