Vent: Tinkerbelle in bed

So, I just have to vent to you. And maybe get some feedback.

So, most of you know, Hanky sleeps in our bed and Tinkerbelle sleeps in her crate in her own room next to ours. Hanky is a lump on a log--at the foot of the bed, never makes a peep. Only snuggles up to me after he has seen my arm slap the alarm off.

We have tried to let Tinker sleep in our bed. When DH is home and I am not, she always gets to. She does fine until the early morning hours when she is rested and decides it is time to play. Oh, and she snores. Sounds like a lumberjack with a head cold. It is pretty hilarious!

So she has always gotten to snuggle on the bed while we read/relax, and then we put her in her crate. It is pretty funny--she never snaps or growls--but makes this little snarly face. She goes peacefully in to her crate. Well, DH has been going to bed before me, because he gets up earlier. So I have been having to put Tink in her crate every night. I really hate it because she is so good....just won't stay that way! Ok that is my vent about DH.

Do you think I am being paranoid that this will make Tinker mad at me in the long run? thanks for letting me vent!

Re: Vent: Tinkerbelle in bed

  • I think you are over thinking it- but I would do the same thing.

When I had DS I constantly (I mean, constantly, like 3 or 4 times a day) would ask DH for reassurance that P was happy and comfortable and felt loved and on and on and on.

  • Thanks for letting me vent ladies! I appreciate having you here to talk to!
