AW - beach bags PIP :)
I have been busy, even after all the christmas crafting - I still love to do it.
I am going on a cruise next month with 2 of my sisters. So, I made them beach bags. I made the same bag for my mom, but the beach bag I just fiddled with the pattern. Plus, I added interior pockets as well.
I used this http://www.bhg.com/crafts/sewing/accessories/six-pocket-bag/ - but let me warn you...it is pretty small. Finished size is 8x10. But, it was the perfect size for my mom for her lunch and her water bottles.
The straps makes pockets by stitching them all the way up. Overall the pattern and instructions were very easy.

The beach bags are much bigger. I think it is 16X22. It took A LOT of fabric.

I still have to make one for myself, just figuring out what prints I want. I keep telling myself that I should use something from my stash, but I doubt that will happen lol
