Wooden Swingset - which one do you have?
For those of you that have a wooden swingset in the backyard, which one do you have and where did you get it? Looking at purchasing one this spring. TIA!
Re: Wooden Swingset - which one do you have?
We have this one and it's great! Kids love it, well made, no complaints.

We have this one- ordered from Gorilla. We hired a guy to put it together for about $200.

We just got it at Christmas and most of it is together at this point (able to be played with--need to finish the roof, toybox, and table ) but it's just OK in my opinion. We got it on sale and that helped a ton. Family also bought it for us so I couldn't really say that I wanted a rainbow set or something else that cost 3 times as much (or more!)
The wood is a bit thinner and softer than I thought it would be. There's a ton of open space on this fort where I think we'll be closing off the monkey bars so the kids don't accidentally fall off (it's too much for our 3 year old anyway.).
Some of the screws and hardware were not the same size (off by 1/16 or more in length) so it was a little frustrating getting it together but there were enough pieces that we figured it out. The "toy box" isn't enclosed on all sides (open on the inside and the top is screwed down instead of hinged). Some of the ladder openings on the fort look like they should have 2 additional boards for side panels to make it a little smaller/safer--I'm debating about going to Home Depot and adding it myself.
My son loves the glider though because he can make it go by himself--it's his favorite part of the set.
I'm curious to see how it holds up--we do plan on sealing it in the Spring.
We have a Rainbow set. LOVE it! Can't rave enough about it. It's a large swing set though.
We got ours through Toys R Us -- the Ridgeview Clubhouse (got it on sale for $599 last Spring). Here's the link: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4044821
We did pay someone to assemble it. Got a rec here. Swingsetman
