DIA off-site parking

Anyone have a recommendation for a good off-site parking lot at DIA?

Re: DIA off-site parking

  • We like Wallypark. Easy in, easy drop-off and pick up at the terminal. Close too, so you aren't in their shuttle for very long.

  • We park at Canopy Parking. It's on Tower and about 70th. $8 - but if you look you can usually find coupons for $5/day.

This is who I use too and they have a AAA discount.

I also use USA Airport parking too, they are just a bit further away and a little more popular so sometimes getting on the shuttle when you get home is a pain.

  • Love Canopy parking.  If you have a Toll Pass for 470 you can get parking for 5.00 a day too.

  • We use Wallypark, too. We have their Wally Club thing, so we just drop off at the valet with a pre-filled-out ticket that has our return info. You get right on the bus and go. When you get back, you call the number from baggage claim, they pick you up and drop you right at your waiting car, with cold bottled water in the vehicle. With the preferred discount, I think the valet service is around $13 a day.

This is totally PIMP, and me thinks I need to have a convo with Todd about switching his parking loyalty.  Do they have covered?

The drop-off area is covered, but I don't think any of the parking is.  I know they wash your windshield before you pick up your car, though.

Its pricey, but I can't tell you how convenient it is when you're traveling with a kid and all their gear.

Hmmm...  Todd has hail panic issues, since he travels so frequently and tends to treat his cars like they are Bentleys or something, so I think he won't do uncovered.  I guess I shouldn't complain, since we always park in the garage, but it I would like all of that VIP love you mentioned!  :)

  • We have used The Parking Spot several times, they were doing $5/day rates when I traveled in Oct, not sure if that is still going on.  It is a little further away than some of the others though.  However they are FAST, super friendly and efficient.  It seems every time I have used them there is always a van ready to take you to your car immediately (and a van ready to take you when you park).

I landed after a big snow storm and the driver got out and scraped my whole car for me, it was really nice.

  • I'm curious what the advantages are to doing one of these off-site parking companies instead of DIA's Pikes Peak lot? What are the differences?  We usually just park in Pike's Peak and I'm honestly curious how these other companies stay in business and what I'm missing!

  • COnoviaSarah -

I was looking primarily to see if I could find a cheaper option.  But, based on the responses, it sounds like most people do it for the convenience factor - a lot of the off site lots have shuttles that pick you up right at your car, drop you off right at your car, do valet, etc.
