Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

T&Ps Please! Thaddeus is missing!
Our massive windstorm blew open our back garage door, and our kitty Thad got out sometime during the night. I can't find him anywhere near by that would be logical places for a kitty to hide during a storm. He's never been outside, and now he's lost in hurricane strength winds. I am so upset and I don't know what to do.
Our damage so far is a gate and a section of the fence. I didn't see the fence down until I had let the dogs out, and they took off. I was screaming for them, and luckily that freaked them out enough that they came back, even Dexter who does not know recall commands. So thank god for that.
So far we still have power, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last. David has been out on calls for the last hour.
Update: Power intermittent. Tree fatalities. Fire department advising people to stay in their homes. Keep our community in your T&Ps too, and David's safety.
