Am I the only mom who sends their kids out the door without breakfast?
N's a very fussy when it comes to eating. Lately he's been refusing to eat breakfast. The past week, I've been sending him to daycare without breakfast because I need to get out the door in the morning. I know he doesn't eat much lunch at daycare so I get all frustrated/worried all day long. If you're LO doesn't eat breakfast do you just let them skip it?

Griffin eats right when we wake up- he sits in our room and watches TV while we shower, etc... and he eats.
The twins get cups of milk in their cribs while we're getting ready... they don't eat breakfast at home on days we work... they eat when they get to daycare, even though they are usually there past the "breakfast time" which is 8:15... their teacher doesn't care and lets them eat whenever I bring them in b/c she knows how hectic it is for us at home trying to get out
If she doesn't finish her breakfast, then it goes to school with her. They have breakfast/snack in the morning when the kids arrive.
The boys eat at school but on days we're running late (have to be there by 8 to eat breakfast there) if they don't eat at home then they have to wait till snack time at 9:30.
Most morning my kids eat dry cereal while we get ready at home and then a hot breakfast (pancakes, waffles, etc) at school. They usually wake up asking for food.
my kid has to have TWO breakfasts.
she'll eat something small at the house ( a thing of blueberries or some yogurt)then they have am snack which a lot of times is like breakfast its that big.
my kid would freak out if she didn't eat. but she's a piggy.
i agree with everyone else he will eat when he is hungry. i don't stress over dinner with my kids b ecause honestly they eat so well all day. im ok with it. try not to stress they will learn

Mine too! She has a small bowl dry cereal and a cup of milk at home and then something like a muffin and tube of yogurt at school. Because of this, and the snacks they give at school I don't worry about her not eating a big dinner.

I had to find something SO DELIOUS to J that he wouldn't refuse to eat it. For him it was the Special K snack bars (like nutragrain but crunchier-) or a chewy peanut butter granola and a yogurt shake.
He only goes to school for a couple of hours and if he doesn't eat he'll be super hungry (and grouchy) when he gets home.
I make a point of insisting, but now he's excited to eat his "special school breakfast foods" that it isn't much of an issue.
Also the yogurt shake in a sippy cup goes with us in the car. If he wants to listen to his music on the way to school he's got to drink his shake.

I always make sure he gets a few bites of something. He;'s very picky. Sometimes its toast with peanut butter, crackers with cheese... or "ice cream"... I've been making spinach & frozen fruit smoothies for mh & I in the morning and I tell him its ice cream and he loves it.
He hasn't gained weight in almost 8 months so if he doesn't gain by March they're going to want some testing, so I make sure I always make time for his meals, since its so frustrating..
Toby gets his vitamins and a drinkable yogurt every morning as soon as he wakes up. Some days that's all he'll eat. Other days he'll ask for some kind of fruit with it and that's all he'll want. Other days he wants eggs and toast AND fruit with it.
I don't worry, as long as I'm putting something in him because right now he's got a morning snack right after he gets to school, and lunch at 11:30..
If I fought with my super picky son about breakfast every morning, I'd never leave the house. Most mornings he eats, but lately he has been a pain in the ass. I don't stress it- he eats what he eats. He has a snack at 10:30-11 and he eats lunch at 12.
My daughter, on the other hand, eats her breakfast and then salivates until Aidan is done so she can eat his leftovers. = )
