...weddings do you and your husband have this summer? we have already received save the dates for 6! our 2 "vacations" this year will be planned around 2 of those weddings but I'm starting to stress out about all of the travel and gifts and outfits that go along with attending so many weddings!

Wow!  We don't have any.  We were one of the last of our group of friends to get married. We have a couple of single friends but I don't forsee any wedding this year.

WOW!  We "only" have 3, but I'm going alone to one of them because it's on the opposite coast and during H's final exams.  H is a best man in one Memorial Day weekend.

We have two so far and I'm in both of them (MOH in one and BM in the other) and my H is in one of them.  Two of our friends just got engaged and they're talking about a destination wedding to St. Lucia.  I'm just hoping it's planned for next year...

Wow.  I don't have any.  None.  Nope.  No weddings for me.  We were the last of our friends to get married (by a whole 3 weeks). My sister's aren't engaged. His brother's already married.  So this year, we're free!

Not many this summer, but there are quite a few weddings this year. My sister was 2 weekends ago, my cousin is having a vow renewal (aka a "real wedding" since they went to the JP in December...don't get me started), another cousin in May in Arizona, MIL's is in June, Step-BIL will be in the fall, a friend from elementary school is in October and my "brother" (neighbor from childhood) is getting married in November. That gets me up to 7 for 2012. Oh my.

We have 2.  1 in April and 1 in July, which I'm pretty sure H will be asked to be a groomsman in.  We always like an excuse to party, so we're looking forward to them

Since so many of our friends are already married or perpetually single, we don't have all that many to go to this summer.  Our BM's wedding is scheduled for November, so we do have that to look forward to.  I think one of my friends may be getting married this summer, but they haven't finalized a date or anything at this point.

Wow! That's a lot of weddings! We've been together for four and a half years and we've never gone to a wedding together. All of our friends are perpetual teenagers and aren't looking to settle down yet :P

None I hope! I don't think anyone we know is ready for marriage! haha

Besides I think any plans we have for this summer are pretty much squashed. I'll either be too freaking big and miserable, be having a baby, or have a newborn. It sucks that I'm already declining summer plans, but I'm sure it'll be worth it!

...although I might attempt to coordinate a few weddings, I just don't think I'll stay for the whole thing. I have to discuss with my boss more, I would love to coordinate some May/June weddings, but I think by that time I'll only be able to handle being there for a little bit of set up, the actually ceremony and maybe the dinner part of the reception. I always have an insane drive (at least an hour and a half one way) too, so I guess we'll see!

Ha! I like this! That's pretty much where all of our friends are. We do have several married friends, but a large majority of both Matt and I's close friends are WAY single. And (at least with Matt's friends) there's not a very good chance of them ever getting married. lol

This is true for most of Jason's friends too! Out of his 8 groomsmen the only one that is married is his BIL (to Jason's sister!)... haha the rest are STILL very single! on my side all of the girls are married except 2. He has a couple of fraternity brothers that are getting married and the other 4 are my friends, cousin and a coworker.

So far, we only have two this year!  My sister has decided to get married before her son gets here in May, so Tim and I are BP members are her wedding in February and we have a friend's wedding in September.

We have 2 so far. My cousin in May and a family friend in June.    Most of our friends aren't quite near marraige yet.  We do have a few couple friends that have been dating for a few years so maybe next year we will have more.   Most of my cousins are a lot older and already married and have a few kids.

We have one in April so far.  Our worst summer was 2009 with 5 weddings.  Only one was in our city.  That was a rough summer...

We only have 1 that I know of. I was one of the last of my college friends to get married, we still have a few of Josh's friends left, one is this summer and one this fall. We have lots of family weddings in the future, just not any this year, this year is a baby year in my family. It generally, goes, weddings one summer, babies the next. There were a couple years in college and shortly after that I had about 7-8 weddings every year.

My best friend is getting married, but she's trying to juggle it around 2nd semester nursing school, her sister having a baby in May and me having one in July, so she's thinking probably August.  It'll be in town.  

I know we'll have one of Clay's friend's in December also.  I think that's it.

We don't have any coming up. H has a friend who is recently engaged, but we don't know if we're invited, and if so, where it is. And that's it for now!

None in summer.  Just one in Spring and one in October.  Actually, the October one may be November, the last I heard they haven't found a venue yet. 

2011 was a big year: one in Spring we didn't attend, one the weekend before ours, ours, one two weeks after ours (and a friend went to two weddings that day!), then Sept and Oct.

We're invited to FIVE weddings this year. One in Feb, one in March, one in May, one in June, and one in Sept. We're not sure yet if we're going to all of them. It's kinda hilarious because H and I have never been to a wedding together before.

We have 2 this year. One in May and one in late June/ early July ( that's the wedding I'm MOH in in!) They are getting married at West Point and still waiting for an ok from the head guy to approve it.

I know of one wedding this summer. Raymond's old partner and his fiance are getting married. We used to hang out before but they haven't really talked since Raymond's departure last May so I don't know if we'll be invited..?

We know five people who are engaged, but are not yet invited to two of those weddings (they aren't sure if they're doing this fall or next spring), so as of now we have three - one is local, one is in our hometown, and the other is Chicago - can't wait for that one!
