Any vet techs out there familiar with enlarged heart xrays?

I just took Dex's chest xrays here at work (I'm an x-ray tech) and he has a cardiologist appt on Friday.  He has been diagnosed with a Grade3 murmur

 

I should have waiting until Thursday night to take these because now I'm obsessed with trying to read them.

 

Any body have any experience?  I can send them to you

I have no experience w/this, but Im an xray tech too & just had to say hi! I rarely ever come across another RT on thenest!

My Coopers had 2 knee surgeries & I just recently took some follow up xrays @ work on him too! Its so nice to save yourself $150 & know that you are the one handling your dog...& that they trust you & will (theoretically) let you do whatever you want to them (within reason of course!) I told our Vet when I took the xrays in to her that I not only did it to save me $, but also to save her staff time, & save my dog stress from being (sorta) manhandled by a bunch of people (even though he's very familiar w/them all b/c we are there about 1x a month & he loves them all...its still not the same as your own Mommy or Daddy)

Sorry I couldn't give you a whole lot of info you didn't already know.  Your Echocargiogram is going to be very informative.  And I wish I could have been able to quell your fears, but you are in good hands tomorrow.  They can give you a lot of info.  Hang in there.

So funny! Yeah there really aren't many around the nest!  I've had people ask what an xray tech on here!

Oh my gosh, no thank you so much. I was trying to respond to your email lat night but our wifi was down and we have been nuts here at work and my phone was acting wacky!

 

Thank you again for looking at them...I'll let you know what the Cardiologist says tomorrow...good or bad.
