Anyone Own a Treatdmill?

Does anyone here own a treadmill?  I'm seriously considering purchasing one off Craigslist for my basement.

What brand do you have? Any tips or thoughts for the buying process?

Re: Anyone Own a Treatdmill?

  • I do.  It's so nice to have.  We have a sole and have been really happy with it.  I started by looking at consumer reports and researching treadmills online.  How much you should spend probably depends on what you will use it for and how often.  If you're walking, you can get away with spending less than running.  Oddly, I seem to remember that folding ones are less than non-folding.  Ours folds, but doesn't really get very small, so we don't really fold it at all.

  • I have a LiveStrong 8.0 it isn't made for heavy duty running, since I only walk/jog it gets the job done just fine.  The only thing I don't like about it is that they go on and on about how you can download your workout information to the Live Strong website only I'm on my 2nd usb and it doesn't really work the way it should.  Better off just manually writing it down.
