    George Gray

    I have studied many times
    The marble which was chiseled for me--
    A boat with a furled sail at rest in a harbor.
    In truth it pictures not my destination
    But my life.
    For love was offered me and I shrank from its disillusionment;
    Sorrow knocked at my door, but I was afraid;
    Ambition called to me, but I dreaded the chances.
    Yet all the while I hungered for meaning in my life.
    And now I know that we must lift the sail
    And catch the winds of destiny
    Wherever they drive the boat.
    To put meaning in one's life may end in madness,
    But life without meaning is the torture
    Of restlessness and vague desire--
    It is a boat longing for the sea and yet afraid.

Beautiful people do not just happen." - Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

    Love both of those series, I spent several months last year on the Outlander Series and read the Sword of Truth series probably 9 years ago; it's still one of my favorites.  :)  You might like the series I'm reading now, the Warrior Heir, the Wizard Heir, and the Dragon Heir.  Have you read Game of Thones?  I'm thinking of starting it next.

    Yay! Another geeky book lover! Hahahaha. I'm slowly working my way through both. I left alone Sword of Truth forEVer after I got my Kindle and have just picked it back up to continue. Whenever I get some spare change again, I'll buy the next e-book in the Outlander series. I read the first book in that YEARS ago and had absolutely no clue it was a whole series until just last year. I've been devouring them since then, hahaha!

    I have not read Game of Thrones yet. A friend of mine bought it, so I might have to steal it from her when she's finished reading it. Have you read The Hunger Games series yet? I've had a few people tell me to read it, but I don't want to get sucked into something that's going to read like a kid's book. I like depth of language and description in my books!

    I loved the The Hunger Games.  I would recommend The Hunger Games before the Heirs series, both are good, just The Hunger Games are better in my opinion.  The plot is a little more mature/dark in The Hunger Games as well.
