Contractor recs?
Dh and I are thinking about finishing our basement- bedroom, bath, and living area. Anyone have a contractor recommendation?

We recently used Tim Sickel to finish our basement (living room and playroom). He was by far the most cost effective - but he does the majority of the work himself...so it takes longer than hiring it out to multiple people. He's a great guy - does a ton of volunteer work (he's been on Oprah!).

I agree with everything MrsBWilliams said - Tim is a great guy! If you are looking for something quick you can always contact a builder to see if they have any crews in your area. If you need more recomendations let me know and I can contact our construction lending dept to see if they have any names for you.
My cousin has a construction business. He maybe able to help you. He is on facebook under Hodson Construction. He helped build our house before he got started in his own business.
