ENT issue just escalated to DRAMA

so the dr was digging around in b's ear telling me there was hard wax & I should put a few drops of peroxide in there...okay fine.  I do this in B's bath & he starts screaming & grabbing his ear..this big brown chunk came out..oh okay...ewww...but as I am toweling him off there is bright red blood in his ear?!?!WTF?!?!?!  I've watched it and it seems to have stopped (not running out) and I am not sticking anything in there...guess it will be off to another doctor tomorrow...

Re: ENT issue just escalated to DRAMA

  • I can give you the name of Mikey's ENT- she is in Hackensack and Englewood- we really liked her-

And the blood can just be from the wax detaching, if it is not bleeding actively it should be ok-

    Poor little guy!

  • likely the brown blob was a scab mixed with wax - and that's why the blood.

    either way - poor dude.

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

I agree with this. It happens to my own ears frequently. I use debrox. It's a little more gentle than straight peroxide.
