Resigning when your boss sits in a cube?
What do you do? I feel this should be more private. I do not have access to book a conference room either. I leave at four, others leave between 3:30 and 5. It would be slightly odd if I stuck around late, and my sup comes in late so mornings are out...

This is my first thought, too. Surely there is a way to do it and keep it private as well.
And if not, then stay late. If it raises suspicion, who cares b/c everyone is going to find out within an hour after your meeting anyway!
My three sons!
I was in the same situation and I e-mailed my boss asking to have a private meeting with her before the end of the day. We went to a conference room and I gave my notice there.
