If anyone was wondering, Max the cat is the boss of our house (note that the dogs were there first, and Max took his spot last). At top is Emmy, at right is Cal, and at bottom is Jack.
This is Cal the first day we had him. He was so skinny (42 pounds...now he's 60) and he had such trouble relaxing. We celebrated when he finally exhausted himself from his anxiety.
This is the first time Cal decided to snuggle. And it was so awkward. I like this pic mostly for the ears.
Here's Nite the other night. Many of our fosters have suffered from ETS (Escaped Tongue Syndrome). Nite rarely does, so it was adorable to see this:

Renzo just cracks me up!
He is a dork and a half and I love him to bits! He stayed wedged in the cushions like that for about 5 hours straight. That was after a 2+ hour trip to the dog park and a visit to my parent's house. He could barely see straight he was so tired.
Last night I was sitting next to Boston on our love seat. There was basically zero space (since Boston is huge) but Renzo was determined to be on the love seat too. He tentatively put one paw up and then found 2 clear inches for his other paw and then somehow he climbed up on my lap and settled in with a contented sigh for a good snuggle. I ended up holding him like a big baby with his chin on my shoulder. Let me tell you....my oh my...I have never loved the boy more than at that moment. My heart was MUSH. Then Boston leaned over and gave my hand a hearty lick which is his way of saying, "ILOVEYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" so it made for a perfect night with my boys. :-)

You are right! I do love them. Tinky looks like she just got caught! Hawk sleeps with his tongue out too it cracks me up.
