If anyone's into spectating bloodsport.
andplusalso, between the post about that Tripp kid and the cost of college, I'm leaning more toward not having kids. Who wants to deal with that sh!t?

ME TOO.
Updated September 2012.
I know nothing about 11D, but now I want to know this too.
Whatever player it is, I really hope it's not one that I like.
A friend slept with a married former NFL player (when he was still playing) and though everyone usually adores him, I can't anymore. I hate when that happens.

Who was it, L?
Kamikaze, she knew.

dammit, I like him! maybe it's not true.
I bet 11D doesn't own any makeup brushes.
WhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa????? Well, better her than me. I'd be tempted to make "Hail Mary" jokes during the act.

For some reason I thought you said NHL, not NFL.

I suppose it could not be true, the only thing I know for sure is that he would send "don't tell" texts and picked her up from her dorm room when I was visiting once.
Most of my random knowledge of things like this is 10+ years old, though, so he could have changed by now.
I heard 11D was the first artist signed to KGettingMarried's indie record label.
But K dropped her when she found out 11D didn't have an Ivy league education.
There was talk of DDing it in case the mother ever googled her name and read six thousand posts on the nest to relive her pain, so it's probably long gone. In all, I think people were appalled that someone would take this instance to make a case for legalized euthanasia. Someone said they would put their dog down in the same situation (how dare they compare this poor baby to a dog!) and someone implied it was cruel to keep the kid alive any longer than necessary.
I don't remember who said what of all this.
We may not be done here, but this is already the winner.

The whole thing made me think yesterday about what Winger said about not judging. It's hard to look at something like that and not ask what I personally would do in that situation. Sometimes that's a way to try and empathize.
If it were me, I'd be damned pissed that euthanasia was not an option. It just seems like needless suffering to me, and the thought of being forced to put one of my kids through that just fills me with almost as much anger as sorrow. Extraordinary measures to keep them alive (not sure if this ever applied to Tripp), as much as I love having them here with me, I would have to ask myself who I was doing that for.
But I wouldn't want any parent to be forced into euthanasia, either. My reality is not anyone else's. When I say I would want an option, I'm not saying anyone else should take that option. Nor that they're not doing what I would do for selfish reasons. They're doing it for their own reasons the same as anyone else. It's pretty clear that Courtney was doing the very best she could by Tripp.
I don't know if 11d and jeremys lost sight of that, or expressed it poorly, or just don't agree, but that's where my comments were coming from.
"The meek shall inherit the earth" isn't about children. It's about deer. We're all going to get messed the fuckup by a bunch of cloned super-deer.- samfish2bcrab
Sometimes I wonder if scientists have never seen a sci-fi movie before. "Oh yes, let's create a super species of deer. NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG." I wonder if State Farm offers a Zombie Deer Attack policy. -CaliopeSpidrman
My understanding is that they did not use extraordinary measures, so really, it's not like it was even her choice to make.
I think people were trying to make a more global argument for euthanasia as a humane option, but it was taken as judgement of the mother and all hell broke loose.
