You're right I skipped the IUI and just said IVF, but I meant serious intervention to get pregnant instead of one-night-stand at a bar.

I have 2 friends who chose option #1 and have two beautiful toddlers now.
(One lost her husband to cancer and his parents paid for the IVF using his frozen swimmers, so it wasn't totally the same situation...but still, Single Mothers by Choice rock!)
