My MIL gave us a frozen 13lb turkey around Thanksgiving that her husband got from work and didn't want; it has been taking up so much room in our freezer for too long now, so we've decided to have a few friends over on Saturday night and have a Thanksgiving-ish dinner. I've never cooked a turkey before so I am kind of nervous but I am sure it'll turn out fine.
My best guy friend is coming into town tonight and staying the weekend with us, and then we have two more friends coming over tomorrow evening for dinner and to hang out, so it should be a fun.
Sunday will consist of watching playoffs.

DH and I have an Army Ball to attend on February 11th. I've got a super-cute black sequined cocktail dress, so this weekend I'm hunting for shoes. Otherwise, just the regular gym, groceries, curling. I also REALLY need to give the house a good cleaning. It's been a little neglected.

I have a physics teacher workshop all day tomorrow and it is a two hour drive away so almost my entire day is gone. In the evening when I get back I am joining DH as he babysits our nephew. So after that, Sunday I plan to be lazy.
I third loving turkey dinner!! wish we could all show up at your house Xan!
I'm stuck working all weekend...boo i should have had sunday/monday off but now will only have monday off so I think i'm gonna veg out on my one day!
