whatcha doing this weekend?
tonight is dinner at my mom's and i'll start laundry after the kids go to sleep
tomorrow - all up in the air because of the anticipated weather. we're supposed to have dance class and then get together with friends/their kids late afternoon and for dinner. if we're stuck home, hopefully the kids can play outside and we can enjoy hot chocolate and marshmellows. i plan to pack up some clothing to send to my niece too.
sunday - ava and i go to a jewish culture class together once a month. maybe i'll take the kids out to lunch in the afternoon, and then i need to go food shopping.
Re: whatcha doing this weekend?
Tonight just dinner... maybe a movie at home.
Tomorrow, we have plans to see Beauty and the Beast with my mom, but like you said, weather pending. My mom is 45 mins away so it might just be P & I. My H is going up north to see a Bball game.
Sunday my SIL is having cake/pizza for my nephews bday. We'll stop by there but come home and cook for the Giants game!
Tomorrow we have tons of plans, so I'm sure the snow will be a lot and cancel them lol. My SIL and BIL are coming over with my niece in the afternoon, then in the evening my MIL and FIL are coming to watch the baby while we get dinner with friends.
Sunday my college roommates are coming to meet the baby.
I'm really looking forward to dinner Saturday... I feel like pre-Landon we would have def gone but I don't know if my inlaws will come down if there's any snow, let alone a few inches, so we'll see.
Not a newbie, but, had to create a new account - formerly LBR_NJ
My Blog - "Helping Make Sense"
Packing up my kitchen. Something I've been dreading just becuase I dont want to go through the medicne cabinet. haha. We got our new cabinets delivered Tuesday so MH is getting antsy and wants to start taking the old ones down. Nothing else which sucks since I hate not having anythign to do on Saturdays.
Sunday is the usual at my IL's but its also MH's grandmother's birthday. She'll be 93!
Tonight - May or May not meet some girlfriends for a drink in town after the kids go to bed...probably not though.
Tomorrow - DMV in the morning then clearing out the basement
Sunday - Family breakfast, Sabrina has soccer then we're having my parents over for a rustic Polenta Bake!!! I am super super excited for this..
Mangia! My Family Table
Nothing tonight- DH is still in Denver and doesnt get home until 11pm
tomorrow morning we have our tennis lessons (the whole family). The kids have a playdate in the afternoon and we are supposed to meet friends for dinner Sat night.
Sunday I am supposed to be taking DD to NYC to see Mary Poppins with a friend and her dd.
Let see what actually ends up happening due to snow. Usually we have hardly any plans so of course it would snow this weekend.
Corey has a project due next Friday so he is going to be working on that tonight. I may or may not head to the gym.
He has a game in south jersey tomorrow late afternoon so that shoots the whole day. He can work on his project in the morning.
We have a home game Sunday morning. And then you guessed it - more project.
tonight we are going to make soft pretzels with the kids
tomorrow we have a family lunch, J has a birthday party, then we are going to veg out
Sunday the kids and I will do the diner for breakfast, stop at the grocery store to figure out what we are eating for dinner and then "shut it down" to watch the GIANTS
Tonight we will be home, as usual.
Tomorrow we are supposed to have dance class in the morning, but I am not sure that will happen. We have no plans in the afternoon because I was too lazy to make any. It has been a busy week and I would like to just hang out with the kids and veg. S wants to go outside if it snows. I would like to do some cooking for the week.
Sunday, S has a birthday party at 2:30.
Pretty low-key weekend for us.
tonight kids have friends coming home with them so dinner with them. Wine with Glenn later :-)
Tomorrow we were going to go to the shore but I dont think we will, hopefully sledding if we get enough snow!
Sunday full day preparation for the GIANTS GAME!
Ive always been curious when someone says they are "just going to stay home and veg with the kids" (and Im not trying to start a debate- purely curiosity). I guess my kids are pretty active or completely unable to keep themselves occupied, because unless they are watching TV or playing a video game, I dont really get to "veg out"- I guess if we all watch a movie that would be considering vegging out. But, unless there is some kind of electronic device on, I end up entertaining and playing with them, which I love, but is not exactly vegging out.
Someone please explain!
Yeah LOL My kids dont veg. Especially not Ryan. They will around 7 on the weekends when we do family movie but no way during the day, Reilly can play for an hour by herself since we have given her about 10 sets of LIttle pony nonsense but thats the limit :-)
This comes up here from time to time but I always think the same thing. My kid is active too though we do get some respites from "Mom can I have ...?" or Dad can you play ... ?" or whatever other requests he has. Though I suppose in actuality it's not that bad. It's just not my idea of totally vegging out. Mine is being alone with some peace and quiet because MH took the kid out, LOL!
To answer the question, tonight we have my SIL's birthday get-together. Tomorrow morning we have to have the car inspected at DMV and then pick up our grocery order. We'll probably spend the night at home, maybe renting a movie or something along those lines. Sunday we always go to my parents for dinner and the game will be on for all to see. I'm not a football buff so I don't really watch.
LOL. My kids don't even sit still to watch a movie.
Tonight we need to do some stuff around the house and then maybe watch a movie.
Tomorrow my ILs are comign over and I need to bake and decorate M's b-day cake
Sunday is M's party and then out to dinner with my ILs for MIL's birthday.
tonight - nada
tomorrow night - girls night out - no clue about what the snow situation is but it better not mess things up!
sunday - no plans except watching my boys in blue make it to the super bowl!
"Like" me on Facebook
Tomorrow our friends are in from FL so we are excited to meet up w/ them. We are heading to King of Prussia b/c that's where they are so I guess we'll walk around the mall and get something to eat there.
Sunday - Ditto Kellyann - All day prep for the GIANTS GAME!!
tonight - just hang out at home...maybe a movie when kids go to bed. WINE!!
Tomorrow - off to celebrate Olivias 3rd bday at my MILs house. Olivia is excited so this weather better not do too much.
Sunday...- Olivia's 3rd bday! Activities in morning..swimming and indoor sports, then maybe a diner for lunch to celebrate. Cake at night! I'll pass on football! LOL
Nothing much tonight. Don's closing, so Toby and I are on our own for dinner. We're probably going to run to $5 Below for a kids hockey stick that we saw last week. My kid is still floating from seeing his first Flyers game last night.
Tomorrow- hoping the snow doesn't impact my kickboxing class at 7:30am, and then Toby's taking his first karate class. Rest of the day we're hanging at home since Don's working.
Sunday- working out in the AM while Toby and Don head to the Motorports show in Oaks. In the afternoon we're going over to SIL and BILs for the afternoon/dinner and to play some street hockey, lol. Should be interesting.
