Decorators...please help with M's room!
Okay, so she chose this bedding, because she loves the color teal/aqua. She wants the walls to be that color, so I'm going to do a very muted version that goes with the bedding (if I can find it). My question is, I was going to paint the dresser we have white (before I knew that this bedding has NO white in it...the white color is cream), but now I don't know what color to paint it. Also, we're painting the ceiling/trim when we paint the room, but I can't bring myself to do it white since it'll clash with the non-white in the comforter....will it look weird if I do the ceiling/trim a cream?? Everything else in the house is white, and I'm a matchy-matchy person.

My second option is using her old Ikea furniture, that I was trying to get rid of since it's not in the best shape, which is the color of the wood that the bed in the picture above is....I'll have to paint the headboard (which was previously a crib and dark wood)...what color do I paint that??

Is this a dresser she will have forever? Or will it be in this room with this bedding and then it will be time to move on? I would pain it that purple or the tangerine color to bring that out. OR I would paint the dresser the darker teal and do each drawer a pink, tangerine and a purple, that would look awesome!
I also might not do the trim white and pick one of the other colors to do an accent with. If you did the muted teal for the walls maybe bring in the darker purple for the trim. Sounds crazy not to paint it white but I bet it would look awesome.
