Anyone work at Starbucks part-time?

I'm expecting my second child and have been trying to look into part time positions that provide health insurance so I can be a SAHM. I noticed on the Starbucks website that they provide health insurance for part time employees and I'm wondering how much they take out of your check for that and what the insurance is like? My concerns are that the premium would eat up my whole check and that the insurance coverage would be awful. TIA

Are you wanting to cover just yourself or your entire family?  If you are wanting family coverage, I feel pretty certain that it's going to eat up your entire paycheck if you are just working part time.  However, maybe I'm wrong, and it's certainly worth looking into!

I worked at Starbucks about 4 years ago for only a year so my memory is fuzzy... I cannot remember how much of my paycheck was taken out... I want to say it was $150 a month for me and DH.  I worked about 25-30 hrs a week and it didn't eat up my whole paycheck but it might if you were only working 20 hours, which I think is what you have to work to qualify for insurance.  I will say that I worked with several people who worked just the minimum amt of hours so they could get the insurance, so it must not have been that big of a deal and is quite common.  I also have a friend who had 2 babies on Sbux health insurance.  I thankfully didn't need to use the insurance except for my pap visit so I can't remember how the coverage was...  I believe my pap was completely covered.  I think the coverage is not bad, but not awesome.  Sorry, not sure if that helps!

I worked there 5 years ago for about 5 years... i just looked at my old pay stub, it depends from state to state but it was 25 every two weeks for just me.
