Yay for being interested in a photography post!
I can facilitate this one since you've got the SO posts. I am thinking that maybe I can (over time) come up with a list of topics to cover: techniques, subjects, etc. Maybe we can plan for the shares to be on Monday or Tuesday so that we have the weekend to shoot. Then we can post and CC.
For example, we have both mentioned people are hard to shoot, so maybe the first goal could be to shoot a few images over the weekend involving people all while working on improving a skill that is required and you are not confident with: posing, hitting the focus, lighting, DOF, rule of thirds, leading lines, etc.
I'd also suggest that we try to post new images as much as possible and only reach into the archives for examples and comparative purposes ... that would force more pictures and trying new skills.
I would also suggest sharing the EXIF data for each image for better CC

I think it will be so fun and hopefully we can all practice and learn things from each other! I know I have so much to learn (hence the class)!
I hope everyone who wants to will participate! I think taking pictures is just priceless.
