still feeling really good, heart burn is killer though! starting to have some contrax in the evenings. they seem a bit more intense than BH, but nothing regular or time-able. surprised they're only in the evenings - could have more to do with slouching on the couch I suppose. How's the hospital treating you?

I noticed position affected my contractions a lot too. I hope they slow down for you... even irregular ones are annoying and a little scary when it's not quite time.

Oh the heartburn! Are you taking anything other than tums? That is one thing I am so looking forward to getting rid of!

The hospital is not too bad (yet, lol). The staff has been great, and I've managed to keep occupied... though it's only been 36 hours, lol. Of course I want the girls to cook as long as possible but I can totally see how people go stir-crazy here. I'm looking forward to hopefully being allowed to shower today!

Isn't is amazing how small things like showers can make or break your day?? You just always seem to feel SO much better after a nice shower!

I'm still just with Tums and sometimes baking soda/water if it's really bad. I'm going ot talk with the OB on Monday since the baking soda has a lot of sodium. It's not quite a daily thing though, so I don't want to take a preventative. Does the heartburn go away pretty much immediately? Because that would be awesome!

Dr said I could take a "very fast" shower if I sit down. I'll take it! lol

The heartburn pretty much instantly went away for me with Nolan... and I had it bad, as in on prescription meds (same as this time!) so hopefully that will be the case with you too. I never tried the baking soda thing... I did tums, zantac, pepcid, and finally protonix (prescription). I really think that is one of the worst parts of it all, lol.

It did for me! Although I would say I get heartburn more now than I did prepreg but I never  got it prepreg and honestly it could just be age. I did use Zantac and there were times it was a miracle drug. It didn't always help but it did help a lot.
