Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Huge thanks to all the Pesties involved in pulling him, transporting, and temporary fostering him. Eddie says thank you for rescuing me from the puppy mill and helping me find my people. He has a 10 yr old human friend now too, they were bff as soon as they met.

We had two approved applications on him; one of them is very interested in a brother that looks identical to Eddie. Her app was good so I hope it works out. Eddie had so much interest that I imagine they will all be adopted quickly.
No. We normally foster FIV cats, we're feeling out options. Dh has set a mandatory waiting period. We moved, I found a rescue I love and the county went to pound instead of SPCA so we are needed. I'm hoping to start doing adult beagles bc there is a shortage of foster homes for them here and keep doing special needs cats. We will probably permanently adopt another beagle or bassett sometime this year. But now we're getting settled in the new house (we got Eddie the night before we moved). We'll see how things develop and then decide: we always wind up with last minute fosters based on need, bc we are suckers and can't say no!
