Help me use my new dishes!

I received a couple fun entertaining things for my birthday and am not sure how to best use them.  I can't find the exact ones but I got one like this but serves 8 and the cups are red , green, yellow and orange and comes with 8 spoons: http://www.pier1.com/Catalog/Dining/tabid/977/CategoryId/893/ProductId/8419/ProductName/White-Porcelain-Sampler-Set/language/en-US/Default.aspx

I also received something like this but serves 6: http://www.pier1.com/Catalog/Dining/tabid/977/CategoryId/893/ProductId/31215/ProductName/Tasting-Party-Spoon-Set/language/en-US/Default.aspx.  I'm not as excited about this one because I feel like it's not as useful.

I'm going to have a little girls night in next month on a Friday night and plan to invite 7 girls.  There's no special occassion or theme except I'll probably use colors with some inspiration from Valentine's colors.  I'd love ideas for dessert in particular because I haven't been able to come up with anything other than strawberries with pound cake skewers.

Thanks!

Sorry I meant a (small gathering) Girls Night In.  Not a "little girls" night in.  LOL
