Yeah this kid isn't going to be screwed up

I get not giving into stereotypes, pink for girls, blue for boys.  I just think this kid is going to be really confused.

I know!  She is screwing him up even more.  Poor kid, never really had a chance.  His mom shouldn't use him as her experiment.

  • What a bunch of wackos. Like gender is a bad thing?

The article says " The big no-no's are hyper-masculine outfits like skull-print shirts and cargo pants." but the next sentance says that he was "dressed in a shiny pink girl's swimsuit."  So basically its bad to be a male.

I hope these moms make a lot of money because they are gonna be shelling it out for the shrinks their kid is going to have to go see.

Yeah that made no sense.  I guess she was trying to say its ok to wear pink, but sculls and Barbie are awful.  Um ok?

  • That poor boy. WTF? Those people remind of the people who lived in Amherst when I went to UMass. Always trying so hard to go against the grain and prove they were above it all. But this is someone else's life, not your own.

  • I honestly think parents think way too much these days about how to raise their kids in some "cool" way. Just love them, teach them to be kind, read to them, engage them, help them make friends, show them we dont always win & how to handle it when they dont. All this other crap is too much. Yeah we taught our child not to buy into gender identity but now he is all sorts of messed up & he is so weird no one wants to be his friend. YAY FOR YOU! GREAT JOB!
  • i agree, the kids going to have expensive shrink bills....nothing wrong with letting kids play w/ whatever toys they want and wear what they want, but i feel like the parents are confusing him even more w/ all this garbage.

  • While I "get" what they are trying to do...I feel sad for the kid and hope it doesn't affect him as much as I think it will.
