Proper Introduction (PIP)

After so many of you have been kind enough to share your wisdom with me, I feel it's the least I can do to repay you in puppy pictures! I finally got around to putting some on photobucket so I could share them here.

We adopted our lovely pup Francesca "Chessie" Elisabetta _____ - ______ (yes, our puppy has a hyphenated last name, hah)  from a local high kill shelter. She is about a year old and some sort of Chihuahua mix (possibly also Jack Russell? Or Doxie? Everyone we meet has an opinion on this, so feel free to throw your suggestions into the ring!) and an absolute sweetheart. Poor little girl was found as a stray and has already had at least one litter of puppies.

Chessie is really such a darling. What a lap dog! She is full of snuggles and love for us and we are happy to return it. She is super well-behaved even though she doesn't really know her commands yet and rarely barks - unless she sees another dog... we're working on it slowly but surely and she is already improving! Her first training class is on Tuesday.

My wife and I are first-time doggie parents and could not be happier to have added Chessie to our little family.

Here are some pictures of her first 2 months in our family: Francesca Elisabetta

ETA: I cannot for the life of me get the files to show up the proper size even though I just spent half an hour re-sizing them. Added a link instead. Grrr, sorry.
