cake pricing question

Amelie's first birthday is coming up and I'm super excited! I found some owl party stuff that I like so I'm just going to buy it as opposed to making stuff like I thought I would. I have a lot going on at school and I like to spend my home time actually being with my kids if at all possible so I'm looking to buy this year. (lame - i know)

This is the set of stuff I ordered for the party.

This is the cake that I really reallllllllly like. She has it copywritten so you have to click the link. (sorry)

link to super cute cake is here

How much do you think it would be to get just the top or the bottom layer? We'll have 8 adults and 4 kids + Amelie at the party. Any recommendations in Lincoln? If I take an invitation to a place like HyVee, would they be able to replicate it or is that a copyright thing? I searched around and there's no "cake kit" or anything available through the company.

Or do you think I could do that on my own? (buy some pans on ebay or borrow - roll the fondant, etc?)

Talk me through this ladies.
