help me with a pizza dough recipe
One of the classes I work with is studying pizza(with our preschool curriculum, we do studies not themes) and we want to make pizza dough with the kids. I'm going to test the recipe out with Danny first. I have yeast and flour so I would like to try it today or tomorrow.
Any suggestions? I did search on google and pinterest but so many recipes come up and it's hard to decide if it's going to be easy to make and taste good.

Re: help me with a pizza dough recipe
I just made this one the other day and I really like it. I have tried a LOT of recipes! LOL! I pinned it on Pinterest so I could reference it.......

I use this one often.

I've never mixed it by hand though I always use the kitchen aid. I'm not sure if that is what your plan is with the kids but it does make enough dough for a really big square pizza, two small pizzas or four or so strombolis.
Good Luck!
thank you everyone! I wound up making this one with Danny. It turned out great and he loved helping me! He was amazed to see the yeast/water mixture foam up and hasn't stopped talking about how the dough ball got bigger.
I put half of the dough in the freezer to use another time. With the other half, I made a yummy pizza using BBQ sauce, shredded chicken, smoked gouda cheese and carmelized onions. I also gave Danny a small ball of dough and he made his own little pizza with tomato sauce, cheese, and olives. Everyone loved it and there were no leftovers!
I used the mixer to knead the dough but we'll do it by hand at school. The kids will love that. I need to talk to the teacher and see if she wants to actually cook the pizza or if we're just making dough so the kids can see it rise. I'm going to try to talk her into giving the each kid a small ball of dough so they can make English muffin sized pizza.
