f/o - Indiana will be getting FHO surgery
I was recommended a vet down in Dallas, NC by a friend of a friend. I called today and they do FHO but not THR surgeries. I asked how much it would be for both hips, and she said around $825! The vet I took him to on wednesday said the FHO would be around $2k. I've heard almost nothing but good things about the FHO, so wish us luck! I have an appointment with a surgeon on thursday, but if all goes well, we'll schedule the surgery soon.

I think you will be thrilled with the results. Everyone I know who has gone that route has had 100% success.
