Are the roads really bad?

We were supposed to go to Hoboken today, but cancelled because I didn't want to fight for parking spot and deal with icy streets.  My mom wanted to go out to Cheesecake Factory in Freehold.  I heard its supposed get icy later.  I sorta want Cheesecake Factory.

one of my friends from jackson just posted on FB that the snow that had turned into an inch of ice.

We got home an hour or so ago and some roads were fine, others were a mess. Ironically, it was the main roads that were a mess. We were supposed to go to Hoboken tonight too but changed our game plan - I don't want to look for a street spot and te garages will probably be full.

Yeah that was my exact thought too, for not going to Hoboken.

I just got back from getting my nails done and the side roads up by me were a mess but by the time I left then nail place the main roads were clear.  But I'm up North, not sure about other areas.

Freehold/Rt. 9 clear.....might risk freezing later on though....

We went from Middlesex county to Sewell and the roads were fine. 295

When I went to the gym at 9am they were a mess, 95 was covered and the exit to Rt. 1 was really bad.  My mom called half hour ago and said it was much better.  We were supposed to go to my ILs in Bergen today and decided against it since it's supposed to get really cold tonight.  So we didn't want to risk icy frozen roads on the drive home.

Just got home (Marlboro) from the Ventian in Garfield and the roads were surprisingly good.

Went from Rutherford to Fairfield and roads were fine. W have to go to Neark Airport at 10 to pick up DH.
