Baked pork skin "bones"?
So, my dogs (miniature dachshunds) love rawhide. In fact, they love it so much that they wolf it down without much chewing. That's bad, I know. So, I no longer give them rawhide. I've been giving them baked pork skin "bones" (pork chomps is the brand I have right now).......looks like rawhide, but supposedly it is digested a lot quicker, so you don't get the bowel obstruction issues. I don't give them one every day....maybe 3-4 times a week? And they get one skinny 6 inch chew, cut in half, so only like 3 inches per dog. Is this bad? Am I being misled by the packaging claims? Should I quit giving them? Is there a better alternative?

Don't know about those, but I just received a shipment of rolled cow cheeks from bestbullysticks.com. Same thing, they look like rawhide, last long, but they don't have the blockage issues rawhide has.
