I'm fed up.

I need my car 2 days next week for work stuff. H just got home with his schedule and guess what 2 days he's working early and can't give me my car.

Fuuuck this.

Re: I'm fed up.

  • It sucks that his work is so far and your schedules are still conflicting.  I'm sorry.  :(  I hope you all can get another car soon because I know how stressful it is for you.

  • *zips up flame retardant suit*

I'm at the point where I'm ready to tell him to just figure it out. It's my car and I need it.

  • Is there any type of public transportation he can take or hitch a ride with a coworker?  I'm assuming no one else is from the same area, but that would be much more convenient if they were.

  • Ugh. That sucks. I've been there. Is public transportation an option? If so, can you do a week on/week off thing? Like, this week he has first dibs on the car and next week you do?

Any plans for when you can get another vehicle?

  • No public transportation besides taxis and I'm not sure they'd go that far. Even if they would, it would be super expensive I'm sure. It was $30 from our house to H's old job. His old job was 7 minutes away. Tongue Tied

Just when we make some progress, another bill comes up that we have to pay. I know I complain about this a lot. It seems like there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

  • That is a lot of suck. Ugh.

This.  I feel for you, Megamuff!  It's an awful feeling when money is tight.

I wish your area's police department would start hiring so your H can begin the process and have a local job.

  • Much suckage. I know how difficult it can be for us to coordinate with one car, so I can't even imagine if I worked outside of the house!

Just last night I told The Husband after we get our taxes back/pay off his credit card/we're getting cheap insurance on the totaled car again so he can drive that to work some days.

I'd probably become insistent that he bum a ride from a coworker/friend/family member when you really need the car for work.

No one else lives in the town we do. My dad has been taking him on Wednesday's since he works in the same town, and that's been such a huge help.

The lead we had on a semi-local PD fell through because they were hiring K9 cops, which H had no experience in. I want to pull my hair out!
