OMG! If you grew up in the 80's....

You have to take a gander at this girls board on pinterest! http://pinterest.com/terrapurdon/totally-80s/

Seriously...I had that exact Caboodle. And I can not believe that I ever forgot about Huga Bunch or Dolly Pops!

  • OMG...kissing coolers!!!!!!!! I had them all!!!
  • My little brother had that FP activity center!!!
  • OMG...I loved my Dolly Pops.   FP makes these snap and play dolls that are similar and I have given to them to several friends' little girls...it has become my standard 2nd birthday girl gift.   And everyone says the same thing.."I used to play with dolls like these when I was little!!!!"

And those barettes with trailing ribbons...my mom put those on my hair all the time.   I think I'm wearing them in most of my grade school pictures!

  • I have a Caboodle sitting in my living room right now. Lol. I found it while cleaning out my closet last week. Matthew spotted it and decided he wanted it because he has never seen such a weird box with a mirror in it before. So there it sits.
  • How funny. I remember playing MASH with my friends at school....guess I didnt wind up in a shack with 10 kids.  I still have my Caboodle and charm necklace. And I actually put my ribbon barrettes on my girls last Halloween (my mom saves everything).

Does anyone remember that show where the girl's dad was an alien, and she could freeze time by putting her two index fingers together? I have thought about having that power several times over the years.

I used to LOVE that show!

  • Who remembers the theme from Out of This World? "Would u like to swing on star...carry moonbeams home in a jar.." And I think the girl was Evie. I also remember the theme from Small Wonder "She's fantastic...made of plastic." Wow, I'm in a time warp.
