Brendan's ear drum is punctured

after he had a cranky night at my parents and coonor bumping into him and he lost it i thought he was over tired.  this morning when i took off his t shirt he flinched and started to scream - so i decided to go to the cvs nminute clinic in hobken, no wait and we were on our way with the oral antibiotics and ear drops.  really? on wednesday before that ent visit he had wax and his ear was a little red to the dr poking around, blood and now a punctured ear drum...i am livid

Re: Brendan's ear drum is punctured

  • OUCH!!! I hope he feels better and heals fast!

  • Yeah I'd be ticked too... are you going to call the ENT?
  • I would totally report that ent. Hope he feels better soon.

  • Could it have ruptured? This is common with severe ear infections...just wanted to throw that out there. Although scary with all the blood and whatnot, they're not that serious and heal themselves. Not discrediting what's going on win him, just wanted to put it out there since it seems you haven't yet seen someone who actually knows about ears (the quack ENT and cvs) not that I do know, but we've been hrough a rupture and it seems like the same thing.
