Anyone want to do a February Shopping Fast??
I've been spending like crazy again, for no reason. I did really well with the shopping fast in October, and February is a short month (lol!) so anyone want to join me?
The only exception I'm making is I will buy a birthday outfit if I find something adorable, and I might buy some of the Jason Wu for Target stuff. Other than that, no makeup, no new clothes or shoes, no home decor, no new books until I've read the 4-5 sitting on my bookshelf already, etc.

Yes!
Where are you going in Spain? My parents live just outside of Madrid
We're going to Barcelona and I am incredibly excited. I need a vacation like I've never needed one before, ha.

Have so much fun!!!
Enjoy Barcelona!
Sundays work great for me to check in. I'm definitely going to need some accountability partners to hold me back from spending all month!

I am....the only things I can buy FBR are necessities...absolute necessities...and anything for my best friend's wedding I am a bridesmaid in. (Had to buy a certain dress and shoes, but we can pick out our own jewelry and I need a new RD dress).
We did our budget for February and it made me want to cry...it will prob be the hardest month $$ H and I will ever have had. Moving sucks!
Thanks! Can you suggest anything I absolutely must buy in Spain?

LOL
Hmmm...well we didn't go to Barcelona, but in Madrid my favorite stores were Zara, Mango, Lefties, and H&M. I was bummed while shopping over there, I wear a size 8 or a medium in almost everything, and I was a size 14 and x-large over there. Literally I wore the largest size of clothing at the stores. Depressing!!
I always like the Hop-On Hop-Off tour bus for the first day in a new city, to kind of see how the city is laid out and what I want to go back to see the next day. Plus I like their maps because they are in English! LOL
Have a great time!
I have not been, but my friend and cousin both suggest shoes. There are a lot of nice local designers. I can only think of two off the top of my head - Salvador Sapena and Argila.
Have fun!
I did see that you're going to an FCB game. I'm so jealous. They're my team. I'm a hardcore, Jersey touting fan. I planned my trip so I'll be able to make it to their last home game if I can find tickets!

My husband is a big soccer fan in general, and when I told him I needed a vacation, I gave him a list of places I'd be happy going. He chose Barcelona strictly because of their team and the fact that they were playing a home game while we'd be there. I'm pretty excited.
We got tickets through some European version of stubhub. If you send me a PM, I will find out the name of the site and send it back to you.

I'm fasting until April 10 (decided to start on Jan 10 so it will be three months), so I'm in. I've been shopping way too much, and we want to sell our house this year so saving needs to be a bigger priority.
This will be for clothes and most home decor. I had some planned purchases like replacing our towels and a new desk area for me that I'm making exceptions for.

I just went on shopping fast buying tickets for my friends and I for an upcoming NBA rivalry game. We ended up saving about 20% on our tickets without a StubHub fan code. We spent over $600 on tickets, so I really hope it’s a good game, and we get our money's worth.
