Where to volunteer in northern Jersey?
I'm relatively new to the area and used to volunteer at a Humane Society before I moved. I'm looking to volunteer again (not necessarily with animals) and am looking for a place to volunteer in either Bergen or Rockland (NY) county. Any suggestions?

I guess it depends on what you want to do. I was/am a Big Sister with the Morris, Bergen, and Passaic Counties branch (My Little has aged out of the program, but, we've continued our relationship). It is probably the most rewarding thing I've ever done.
I'm also involved with Special Olympics, at the state level, but, there are a lot of events held in North Jersey.
