If you use Philosophy products, pls come in....

I tried Hope in a Jar recently and loved it, but thinking of trying Miracle Worker since it has anti-aging in it.  Does anyone use it?  Do you love it?

  • I tried Hope in Jar, it made my face soo oily.  Miracle Worker did crap.

The only product I love is Amazing Grace.

  • i was always a Philosophy user, but their products have clearly changed, I believe Christine (the founder) sold the company to Coty, I notice a changed in the fragrances.  I always swore by Hope in the Jar, but the last time I bought it it burned my skin.  Not sure if the formula changed or my skin changed.

I've been using Josie Maran Argan Oil since April 2011 and my skin has never looked better.   Don't let the word oil scare you.  I'd try it.  I haven ot had one breakout since using it and my skin is so soft.

  • I actually like Miracle Worker.  I have only been using it for about a month, but I think my skin looks a little better.  It can be a little tacky on the face if you use too much- a little goes a long way.  I wear bare minerals foundation and I like how smoothly it goes on now over the moisturizer.

They have a kit for $35 on Sephora.  I tried that first so I didn't spend a load of cash on something I might not like.  It's significantly more expensive than Hope, I think.

  • I have tried a lot of products and this one so far has been amazing for my skin.  Even my husband started to use it and it has make a huge difference for him too. It's super cheap as well.

ETA: If you have oily skin you may want to pass on this.
