He's out watching the game. I was in the bathroom around 9 and our doorbell rings. No one ever rings our bell, let alone at 9 at night. Obviously I wasn't expecting anyone so I didn't answer. They rang about 2 more times and then nothing. 5 minutes later I hear our screen door open and someone is knocking. At this point, I'm shaking (because I'm a baby. lol).I text our neighbors to ask if it was one of them (knowing it wasn't because they know Mia would be sleeping and not ring the bell) I let a few minutes pass and look out the peephole. There's a car with it's lights on parked in front (we're in a townhouse and the car is in dh's spot facing our door). I ask "who is it?" and no one answers. My neighbor texts that she sent her dh out to look and he saw a bunch of kids in a car at the end of the street and they drove away. Okay, wtf? Anyway. I've been texting dh telling him what was going on and after a few questions he says "the front door?". Our back door is a glass slider and we have a fenced in yard. Did he really think that I wouldn't have been on the phone w/ the cops in TWO SECONDS if someone had been trying to get in there? lol. Ugh.
Re: Gotta love husbands
LOL!
I would never answer the door! I am a huge chicken!
I never answer the door if I'm not expecting someone! Yesterday Matt was here and he answered and it was actually FedEx... I would have ignored it, because there is no way to check without opening the door or using the intercom. lol
PS - Duh Dave! ;-)
Same here. We have a peephole but we also have a little window to the side of the door. It's not facing forward but if someone was at our door, they could certainly walk 3 steps to the side and look in. So, no thanks. Guess I'll be curtain shopping first thing in the morning.
But do they come at 9 on a Sunday night? If so, you're crazy and stop answering the damn door! lol.
