Hey all! My husband and I have been "patiently" waiting a little over 5 months to close on our short sale home. We got short sale approval on Dec19th and have been waiting ever since for our closing date. Everytime we try to contact the negotiator for an update it seems like he is never around. My attorney called him 2 weeks ago and his voicemail said he was on vacation. We called back and his voicemail literally said "today I am answering voicemails/emails from December 15th!!" then called back this past Wednesday and his voicemail said he was off for 3 days that week. My husband and I are really pressed for time to move and I cannot believe that our living situation is in the hands of someone who isn't bothering to do his job. My husband and I really love this home and we have already waited this long for it. What would you do in this situation?
