I see that you're doing the Couch to 5K program.  How are you liking it??  I want to start it once the weather gets warmer and I can run outside.... or maybe I should get a treadmill.

  • I'm butting in here since I've done C25K.  I.LOVE.IT.  When I try to start running again on my own, I tend to set a schedule that's overwhelming and quit.  With C25K, you start slow and since you're doing intervals, you are able to build endurance without realizing it (if that makes sense).  Since you aren't running for 10 minutes straight, you're not worn out and dead halfway through the workout.

    If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend downloading the C25K app.  It tells you when to run and when to walk, plus you can still play your music without interruption.

  • I don't have an IPhone, or a smart phone at all for that matter, haha.  But I do have an Ipod Touch, so I'll see if I can find it!  Thanks!
  • Hi!  Yes, I'm on Week 2 and I'm really liking it!  I'm not a runner at all, so it's nice to start off slow.  I do have it downloaded on my phone, and like Andrea said you can play music through it.  It beeps when you are supposed to walk and then again when you are supposed to run!  I highly recommend it
