KWIM About A Room Feeling?
I was discussing with a few people how a room feels different when it is empty versus when there is a person in it.
Even if you can't see the person.
Each one of us agreed that a room felt different when someone was in it.. but we couldn't really describe how it felt.
One lady said it almost 'sounded' different, but without any noise.
Do you get it?
Re: KWIM About A Room Feeling?
I don't know about the room feeling different, but I get the feeling like I am being watched which is probably the same thing.
The sound thing, yeah I don't get that.
Damn it. I can't describe it! My words are failing me!
But is it the room that feels different or is it you feeling different that you are not alone in a room? B/C when I am alone in the room verses Jay being in there with me, even if we are doing our own thing, is a different feeling.
Yesterday I heard our back door open and close (but the bells we have on it didn't make a noise), footsteps, a chair moving, and then silence.
It sounded like someone walked into our house and sat in the dining room.. and it seemed like they were sitting there silently. I don't know how to describe it to anyone who doesn't get that the silences can feel different.
I thought it was my mom at first. After wondering why she'd be sitting in the dining room much longer than it would have taken to take her shoes off I finally realized I'd never heard the bells.. so it couldn't have really been the door opening and closing.
