Anyone here remember my foster Meeko?
She's coming back to the rescue almost a year after her adoption. Big surprise since we found her posted on Craigslist several months ago and the owners claimed it was an "accident". Sigh
Re: Anyone here remember my foster Meeko?
Wow, that's HORRIBLE!! I would be more furious than anything. I'm glad she's coming back to the rescue. The poor thing.
Poor baby. We had a return to my shelter after 11 months; the people were awesome and loved him but apparently decided he was too energetic for their dog. That's when I realized that many people seem like ideal adopters and want to be ideal adopters, but don't know themselves well enough to acknowledge they're too damn lazy to do the work. Still makes me sick.
Plus side? Meeko's people sound crappy, now she'll have a shot at good people for the rest of her life.
You posted on here when you found her on craigslist, didn't you?
Yeah, they sound like assholes. I agree with Kellbell, that a lot of people have good intentions and just don't know what to do/don't have the follow through, but these people sound like jerks.
Hope her next home is definitely her forever one!
