daycare director called me at 9:40am and asked if i noticed that Sam probably has pink eye - neither dh nor i noticed any gunk or crust or red eyeballs this morning or even yesterday.
they said she's rubbing her eye and it's very red and that it is likely pink eye, but she can stay until naptime and if she wakes up gunky - she's got to go.
first, i would have thought it would be noticeable when she woke this morning because it's always worse after sleeping, unless it comes on that quickly since drop off at 9am?
second, if you think the kid has a contagion, why allow her to stay for hours and spread it around the room? she's 15mos - everything gets touched, rubbed and put in the mouth.....
