Do anything fun? Is it yucky weather where you are?

Re: How was your weekend?
Great but busy weekend! My mom had a memorial service in Alameda and doesn't like driving in the Bay Area-Since i had a baby shower in SF hubby and I dropped her off, then he dropped me off, then he hung out with the daddy-to-be and another friend. Picked me back up, then back to Alameda, and then we went to Oakland and met up with his parents for dinner.
Sunday my brother in law from Texas came up since he was in town visiting his parents in Vacaville and I got to love on my 4month old niece. He's on paternity leave and since the baby flies free he brought her out for 6 days to visit his Dad-his dad won't go there so he rarely sees his grandchildren.
It was a family filled weekend and I have no complaints!
ETA: The weather this weekend was ok, but this morning it's MISERABLE!
Great weekend!
I spent Sat in NYC with my BFF. We saw Priscella Queen of the Desert on Broadway, had a fab meal and lots of drinks and girl time. And for dessert we tried a new place that was delicious. Puddin! Guess what they serve.
Yesterday was spent on the couch...recovering.

We went to H's work event on Friday night (it was pretty fun), an open house (ideal home, non-ideal neighborhood/lot) on Saturday, and grocery shopped on Sunday. Not a lot of excitement.
In semi-exciting (ugh) news, our senior (16 y/o) cat broke a tooth off on Saturday, so I spent this afternoon at the vet office, figuring out a game plan to get him fixed up. And most of the weekend was spent worrying about him in the back of my mind.
I am jealous of your NYC trip. I miss the city a lot.
