drinking but not really eating
So Grace got over her stomach bug but not before shaing w/ me. Seems like she has gotten her cold back now too. She's been very clingy and sleepy. Could all the vomiting taken a lot out of her? it was her first bug and she just seems sooo tired (which was thankfully useful while I was sick yesterday and H was at work). She is taking plenty of fluids and making wet diapers but has stopped eating her dinners of chicken and fries (the only real food besides fruit and yogurt). I just wish she was eating more. Puffs, yogurt and stage 3 fruits just don't cut it. Thoughts from those whose kids have had stomach viruses? I dont want to go the doctor to have them tell me it's nothing. PS....7 weeks pg w/ a stomach virus BLOWS!

Re: drinking but not really eating
I had a stomach virus very early on in pregnancy with Zach, and it was the worst. Make sure you stay hydrated! We got hit with a stomach bug this weekend also, and Zach was not feeling well at all. He was the same as Grace though- he kept drinking all day, but ate next to nothing. And he was fine with it. My feeling was that the fluids are the most important thing. He's a lot better today and definitely making up for the lack of eating yesterday. I hope everyone in your house is feeling better ASAP!
