So my little girls decided to come a few days before their induction! Taking us very much by surprise just after midnight Friday morning when we had to head to the hospital due to some labor symptoms (actually I was worried something had happened to my placenta---kinda scary actually). Labor pains started once we got to the hospital.
Baby A- Sophia (Sophie) Louise- who we might also call Sophie Lou, was born at 11:41am after 1 push because my OB had to use the vaccum and an episiodomy to get her out quickly due to some low heart rates. Baby B- Clara Rose, was born at 11:51am after 2 pushes.
After all the concern about their weights, Sophie ended up being 5lb 10oz and Clara 5lb 8oz....I was so happy and relieved. Since they made it almost to 38 weeks and were doing so well, no NICU time was needed and they came home with us yesterday evening!
Feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment but I keep telling myself once milk comes in and we all get adjusted things will get easier!
But SO in love with my cute little girls :-) DH is really good with them too and will get to spend the week home with us!
Re: Twin girls born 1/20!
Wow - what good weights for twins! So glad to hear everyone is doing well. Congrats!
Love all of these new baby announcements!
No more baby siggie pics. Boo.
Wow...that's great that they are doing so well and I hope your milk comes in ASAP! It takes quite a few days after having that first kiddo.
Thanks for sharing and Happy Birthday Sophie Lou and Clara Rose!

PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
Excellent news! Glad all went well and you're all home.
Kina reminds me of my aunt, thinking she was going to have one big baby and ended up with two little 5#-ers! (this was 45yrs ago w/o u/s of course-at least you knew you were having two)
